Brush Collection Information

———————————————

Collection Method: The city operates four dedicated trucks, each assigned to a specific area for brush collection. Simply place your brush on the street in front of your property for pickup by the designated truck. No scheduling is needed, ensuring a predictable collection schedule for residents.

Guidelines: Accepted Items: Only natural wood like tree limbs and hedge bushes are accepted.

Size Limits: Wood waste should not exceed 8 feet in length, 18 inches in diameter, and 4 feet in height.

Separation: Keep brush separate from bulk trash, leaves, and other refuse.

Placement: Place brush near the curb, away from obstacles like cars, mailboxes, and wires. Do not block roads, sidewalks, or drainage areas.

Additional Tips:

Exclusions: Land clearing materials, treated wood (e.g., 2x4s, cross-ties), and items from contractors or businesses are not collected.

Safety: Avoid approaching collection trucks during pickup operations.

By following these guidelines, residents can ensure their brush is collected efficiently and in compliance with city regulations.
