RAIN BARRELS

Annual Rain Barrel Distribution Day is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 4th,

from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Development Resource Center, located at 1250 Market Street.

This initiative aims to promote sustainable water management practices within our community by offering residents the opportunity to purchase rain barrels at subsidized prices. Residents

residing within city limits and owning their homes are eligible to purchase up to 2 rain barrels each at the subsidized rate. Residents living outside city limits are also welcome to purchase rain barrels, although they will not benefit from the subsidized pricing. Residents must be up to date on their Stormwater Fee to qualify.

The Rain Barrel Distribution Day is part of our ongoing efforts to promote sustainable water

management practices within our community. Rain barrels are a practical and an eco-friendly solution for capturing rainwater, reducing stormwater runoff, and conserving water resources.
